Children of All Abilities Enjoy Unique Adventure Cove Park

Adventure Cove Park, in south Lake Charles, is designed to give children of all abilities and developmental levels the chance to play together in an engaging and entertaining outdoor environment. One of the park’s unique features is the Liberty Swing, a special piece of play equipment that enables handicapped children to enjoy swinging. The Adventure Cove Liberty Swing is one of 14 in the U.S.

Adventure Cove Park also features:

• Multi-colored rubber surface for running and jumping
• Play areas designed by age levels, including the “Tot Lot” for ages 2 to 5, which includes a boat play structure, slides and murals, and larger climbing structures, slides and a maze with a painted marsh scenes for children ages 6 to 12
• Shaded benches and picnic areas
• Spray ground with multiple fountains open in summer months
• Wheelchair ramps and wide access points on all equipment
