View All Arts & Music

The oldest arts and culture organization in Southwest Louisiana, the Lake Charles Little Theatre is the premiere presenter of live theater in the region. Founded in 1927, the community theater troupe performs several shows each season, including popular dramas and musicals, many of which are produced for family audiences. Past performances include The Diary of Anne Frank, The Red Velvet Cake War and Romeo and Juliet.

Since 1986, the Little Theatre has hosted a regular season of dramatic performances and holiday events, such as the one-night Rory Partin’s Big Band Sounds, featuring live, big-band hits and holiday classics.
