Children's Museum of Lake Charles
The Children’s Museum of Lake Charles is a learning museum that features interactive exhibits on science, folk life, Louisiana culture and history, and the arts. It is located in a historic three-story building in downtown Lake Charles and is a popular venue for families in the area. With 21,000 square feet of hands-on programs and displays, the museum is an engaging place for children to think, learn, create and play.

The museum’s third floor features classrooms for activities, including seasonal arts and crafts and workshops for children in painting, drawing and other fine arts. New projects are held each week, from geometric construction paper animals to Mardi Gras necklaces. The museum also hosts special events that highlight the arts and sciences.
